Womens Development Unlimited (WDU) is a not-for-profit company which provides women-friendly business support, training and personal development services to help women develop the confidence, skills and knowledge to reach their potential.

Why women?

Women have great potential to make a real contribution to the local economy. In the US women are twice as likely to start-up businesses than women in the U.K. However, If women started businesses at the same rate as men there would be 100,000 new businesses in the UK. Yet many women are not able to access the support they need to develop the confidence and skills that will make a real difference.

At WDU we understand that women need a different kind of service. They require accessible, just in time support that takes account of their personal and professional needs. We offer women training and networking in locally-based women-only groups. Our support packages provide women with practical skills and vital business know-how. Our services are proven to build womens' confidence, and we provide women with access to inspirational women role-models.
